Concrete roof tiles collect rainwater in approximately 50,000 gallons of cisterns under the house.

Perpendicular to the house the colonnade which has storage space underneath stretches past the length of the pool and has the infrastructure in place to accommodate another wing for perhaps two bedrooms and a “pool cabana”.

There is room to install a complete tennis court on the slop in the middle of the essentially oblong property.

There is another site at the bottom of the property to the north east where there is already a foundation in place on the grey water cistern. This cistern holds rain runoff from the ample driveway that is pumped to the plants through drip lines. One could build a caretaker’s cottage or even a year around rental without fear of jeopardizing the privacy of the main house. The property is so large that any building in this lower area could easily and aesthetically be screened from the main house on the hill with landscaping.

Numerous upscale features abound such as the Great Room’s oversize sliding screen and glass doors that can be completely set back in stone work pockets. There is a lavish amount of stonework, high cathedral ceilings, marble floors, alabaster and antique sconces and an intricately and festively tiled powder room with gold veneer fixtures.

The master bedroom has an outdoor shower in one of the bathrooms and also a Jacuzzi tub. The oversize fine furniture quality carved teak wood double doors with matching filigree arch in a rosewood finish are imported from Thailand. There are other matching pieces of furniture from Thailand in the Great Room.

The laundry/storage room has a loft space over the wet bar and powder room.

The house has been used as a villa rental for over a year and is already covering all its own expenses (no mortgage) even though the owners are in residence regularly and for the major holidays.
